A View with a Villa
Villa Aphrodite commands one of the most stunning views on Corfu island. From the front terraces bordering the swimming pool one looks out across the sea channel to the Greek mainland, the coast line and mountains of Albania and the fortress above Corfu town.

The villa is set in its own private garden, within there is a 10.5 x 4.5m private swimming pool of 1 - 2.2m depth.

It is located on a hillside of pine and olive trees above Mon Repos, the birth place of Prince Philip. The fountain of Kardaki lies below on the fringe of a small beach.

The interiors of Aphrodite are of a classical style with a beautiful combination of Greek marbles and oak. The four bedrooms lead out on to private patios and the spacious living areas of the ground floor open out on to shaded terraces bordered by flowers, trees and shrubs.
The swimming pool lies on the same level with the living room, with its own surrounding sun terrace.
The villa can accomodate in comfort 10 people in five bedrooms, four of which are on the first floor, all with private patios with views and one on the lower ground floor.

The villa enjoys a secluded, peaceful location with access to the beach through a short, charming footpath.

A home away from home.
We (family of 8, including a toddler) spent a week at Mina's and had a magnificent stay. The house is spacious, the kitchen is fully accessorized, the rooms are cosy and the view is just incredible. The pool is great and lots of fun, and if this is not enough - the sea is only a 5 minutes walk away. But above all - Mina. This woman gives a whole new definition to the word Hospitality. There wasn't a thing we asked for, or showed interest in, that Mina didn't take care of immediately. She was resourceful, kind and really made our time in Corfu as enjoyable as possible.
We strongly recommend this Villa!

Extraordinary hidden paradise
We rented the magnificent villa Aphrodite for several months this year and also invited friends and relatives to stay there. The villa definitely enjoys one of the best locations on the island, an idyllic site with a spectacular panoramic view on the sea and the Corfu old castle, only a few minutes’ drive from the airport and the lively city centre. We must have taken hundreds of photos but none can convey the real splendour of the place. The villa itself is elegant and spacious, in a traditional style and with a personal touch that makes one feel cosy and secure as if staying with friends rather than renting a holiday home. What makes Villa Aphrodite a truly rare jewel, however, is the extraordinary hospitality of its hostess Mina, who from the very first contact did everything to accommodate our wishes: special dietary (allergy) concerns, car rental, advice on dining or places to see. As we arrived the first time, Mina was there to welcome us and to make sure that we’d know everything about the house. She did the same with every arrival of our guests, welcoming them with fresh flowers and fruit from the garden, home-cooked food, wine, and grocery enough to last for days. Thank you, Mina, for your attention and for making your guests feel at home! I can’t wait to be back next year, perhaps already in early spring. I’d recommend Villa Aphrodite to any solo traveller, couple or group of family or friends who wish to combine a breathtakingly beautiful setting with the best of Greek hospitality.

“Villa Extraordinaire, Mina Our Guardian Angel”
We have been in Villa Aphrodite for 2 weeks and we have one more week ahead in this exceptional place. We're very experienced owners and renters and this is one of the loveliest places we've ever been. The villa is beautiful, authentic and comfortable. We've been here with three families--grandparents and two families with children (ages 4,8 and 12 year old twins.) The villa is large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably; the kitchen well-equipped and the pool and terraces spacious with a view that never stops. Gazing out over the sea and watching the colors of the sky and distant hills change during the day is like being in an Impressionist painting. We can't say enough about Mina; not only did she meet us at the airport (and one family which arrived at midnight), but she has helped--like a guardian angel--with so many aspects of our stay. She even guided us to the best local bakery for the birthday cake for the twins. We've stayed in villas in many countries and never, never had the kind of attentive help and generosity that Mina has given us. Our youngest (4 years old) couldn't stop hugging Mina when he had to say good-by. And we all feel the same, from the youngest to the oldest. If you have the great good fortune to come to Corfu and stay with Mina, the memories will be with you for the rest of your years.

Our review of the Villa Aphrodite - June 2024
We stayed as a family of 8 at Mina’s wonderful villa in Corfu. I can honestly say that it was the most beautiful villa I have ever stayed in. The view is just incredible and you feel very privileged to be able to look out every day and see the spectacular sea and island landscapes. We visited in June and Mina’s garden and terraces were also full of gorgeous flowers in bloom. Which added to the setting. At night we could eat al fresco on the patio and the pool area looked lovely with the pool lights on. Mina was an exceptional host, always quick to respond with any questions that we had.
The large pool was maintained to a high standard and we had some great times just relaxing in it and looking out to sea. The location was great for us as we could easily walk into Corfu old town, and when the weather was very hot we could also easily get a taxi back. Some days we walked but the option was always there. The interior of the house was also really beautiful and very clean with lovely views from the bedrooms. I would highly recommend Villa Aphrodite and would love to return one day.
Thank you Mina!
